About Us

Blue Jay Design was founded in 2007 after both Andrea and Jessica spent years renovating their own homes and helping friends and family members with a range of design projects. Andrea, who has always had a passion for fashion and design, practiced law at a prominent Boston firm earlier in her career. Jessica worked in the advertising industry, and has a background in fine art and design. We believe our individual training and design perspectives complement each other and result in unique, inspired and client-focused spaces. We combine our creative skills for all our client projects. 

Our goal is to help create spaces that reflect our client’s lives - their personalities, interests, values and priorities. At the beginning of every project, we work closely with clients to refine their wants and needs to help guide our design vision. There are countless furniture and furnishing resources available today – but even those with a keen eye for design can feel overwhelmed by all the choices. We bring focus and determination to pull the best combination of elements together to create unique, comfortable and functional living spaces. Our experience includes pre-construction and renovation consulting in collaboration with architects and builders through comprehensive room redesign.
